SO WHAT IS YOUR
SEPTIC TANK?
The septic tank is the heart of your onsite waste water disposal system. Here, all the solids and liquids that go down your homes drains. In the tank, the solids and liquids are separated. Grease and oils stay on top, and solids sink to the bottom to pumped out later. The liquids then pass onto the leach field to be processed.
The Indiana Department of Health recommends pumping your tank every 3 years, so know your pump schedule!
